Part 1: THe beginning (Dep to leaving of Ken)
I apologize for any troubles caused when you are readings this and since i never ss until 2002 I have very little pictures in this. Also i can't remember every detail since it was 5 years ago.=D
The beginning:
So lets start this before I forget. The beginning of my lineage time begins April of 2001 (the month before beta if I remember correctly), my friends invited me to Lineage and I was still using a Pentium 1 120MHZ (OMG now I am using a 2.4g). That was the only game I could play at that time. It was also the first game I played.
First time seeing gamemaster:
So it begins…. I started on DEP as a mage named<> with a few friends. First few levels were hard because I never played a MMORPG but it got addicted… I learned my first spells… tamed my first set of dogs and god they were $$. Having 10k was godly at that time… and bone set was ownage… ress scrolls were expensive, zels were 60k and dais were 140k with 1000+ people on ken or dep. As beta comes to an end, my friends started playing less and I stopped as well. Then comes to Pay to Play period.
I made a lot of trial accounts trying to make myself faster to lvlon KEN to make sure I am ready to pay for Lineage. Then I paid my first account and I transferred all my trial accounts item to my first account and thus created Kingsley on KEN. As times goes on, NC introduced Giran where it was a major change to the economy, Giran introduced shops that sells zels and dais (big economy change) I learned my ways of becoming a soloing mage with pets but my stats were weird.. I forgot and got no screenshots on it so… bear with me. I couldn’t get summon at that time because they were 1m and I wasn’t at that level to learn it… It took me almost 2 months to get to 24. With the help of Icymage, Vashangelarm and Forge (same forge on LOA, “my ex-partner”), I got to 29 and stayed stuck there for a month never levelled past it. During that time I was in Kai’s pledge, Silent and Alliance pledge (Marak’s Bloodrage, Goon’s BattleAnt and Wolf’s pledge) , Deadly Sins (one of the founders of the 87 with machismo), The Brotherhood, Westknights, Legens and a million other pledges at 29 and played a lot of siege rolls. God those days were fun =D.
Buying those spells were expensive because they are drops only and no ivory tower but it was worth it. Having my first SOM from the spartoi quest was enjoyable. Hunting with Rathy (yes, the same rathy character as today) was just a blast, seeing him hunt all those lizzies and trying to get summons for 1m). If its the same rahty then he is a 4x yrs old mexican cook but probably his son is playing now! There were a lot of things that I cannot remember but I know they were awesome.
Here’s a picture of me in Silent. I probably stayed around Silent Alliance the longest and remained loyal to them the most. I hated DD the most even because they kept on bitching me about not typing Chinese when I am in their pledge.
Why I left Ken at first:
The first drop event of Lineage happened in X’mas since Beta ended and drop was like godly but my best drop were Dai but my ac became -24 from -10 which I adore when no soft ac applied. People were happy for that event but the economy of lineage changed. Then the worst possible thing happened, I GOT HACKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With the help of a million pledges, I got my som and some ac back (thx Claymore, Krelen(mandalay) and many others I cannot named at the moment and Waterelf(kyoshiro), fyreblade(lordnemesis and totoro)) Then I started playing again but with the lost of items, it became hard for me to level so I played Vashangelarm and Icymage’s account for like another month when I was just about to regain my lost, I got hacked again!!!!!!!!!!!! Thus I left ken and went to next. Part 2 of my lineage life awaits.
At that time I had no idea how MMORPG works still and Amer’s Lineage Compendium was just started. Hiene was introduced shortly during that time and Lizards were popular spot to hunt. This ended sometime around 2002June. There are a lot other things I like to mention for can’t remember for now><. Promise next part more pics then this one. I was also one of the webmasters of Silentforce =D. Well that's all i remember for now.
